Where Is Jesus Mentioned As A Kinsman-Redeemer?

People who have read the previous post about the scriptural basis for Gentile Redemption have made remarks saying, “the Bible references the Old Testament when it talks about Christ becoming a curse for us, and being our Passover lamb. But it never references the slavery passages in Leviticus for Gentile Redemption. What do you think about that?”

Well, the Bible NEVER comes out and says that Jesus fills the role of Boaz as the “Kinsman-Redeemer” of the Jewish people. There is no verse in the Bible directly relating Jesus to the Book of Ruth, or the Kinsman-Redeemer rules of the Old Testament. Nevertheless, it fits…So, we assume the obvious and rightly preach Jesus as the “Kinsman-Redeemer” of the Jewish people. Therefore, He is also the redeemer of the Gentiles through the slavery laws stated in the two previous posts. It is the only fit.
