Secure Me In Your Love

To Make God's Love Visible

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray now for everyone who is reading this that needs a certain assurance of Your love for them. Father, secure them in Your love! Yes! Secure them in Your love. Wrap them like a warm blanket that soothes. Bring them into a fresh sense of the eternal arms that hold them. Melt away the drab of the world, Silence the voice of torment, and hold out the cup that counts their tears. You hear the voice of weeping and the silent groan that cannot be uttered. You are there for them as they read this. You are present if they are in brokenness with contrite hearts; You are there if they are silent and still before you; You are there if they are smiling while You dwell in the midst of their praises. You are there for them now. Secure them in Your love.

We have learned of the depths of the unimaginable shame you endured in becoming sin for us so that we could walk away from the chains of sin, guilt, despair, and insecurity. Take us now from the academic knowledge of You into the experience of Your grace-filled presence. Let your spirit come and whisper, “you are mine, you are my child.” Give them the strength of the Spirit to speak out right now and declare audibly, “I belong to You and no other! Father, secure me in Your Love”. Pour over them with waters from your throne that bring healing, deliverance, comfort, joy, peace, cleansing, and Your sufficient grace to meet every need. Let us declare that this is the day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Secure us in your love. We agree in Jesus name, amen.
